Drive in Bali, When we heard about this word everybody in this world know what it is and how this thing is influence human life.
Coffee is a magic beverage, it can swap away the bad mood, kick out the headache and also as a mood booster.
Some people even very addictive with this beverage, since when they are not having this single cup in a day, the day of the particular people will damage and seem unhappy.

In Indonesia where we have a lot of coffee farm, we have several popular coffees such as:
Gayo Coffee, Aceh Coffee, Sumatra Coffee, Toraja Coffee, Papua coffee and Bali Coffee.
Probably Indonesia coffee is not that popular in the world yet, however our Government especially the Tourism Department try to introduce our coffee variant to the world.
Talking about BALI, we have one Coffee variant that has been well known in Bali and National wide (Indonesia).
And the most popular one is Luwak Coffee where this coffee is very unique and even the only variant in this world.

There is one Luwak Coffee farm here in Ubud.
The most unique thing from Luwak Coffee is the process in how the farmer select the BEST Coffee bean.
There is unique animal called “Luwak” (civet cat), this animal is nocturnal tree cat in Indonesia which snack coffee bean in the field.

This animal eats the coffee berry but does not digest the hard stone/the coffee bean, which is the next day excreted into its poop.

The farmer will collect the poop of this animal, and then the coffee beans are washed, roasted and ground up.

It is not just a believe that this animal is quite expert in selecting the best coffee bean but the result
Yes indeed this coffee has a very special taste and become a STAR in Coffee variant in Bali and Indonesia or even in the world.
This coffee is very expensive the price start from IDR7.800.000 or USD 600-700/kg compare to other Bali coffee which is IDR 60.000 – 70.000/kg or USD 5 – USD 6/kg.

Especially in Ubud there are lot of coffee shop or café that provided coffee start from ordinary coffee with affordable price up to luxury coffee where this coffee is dedicated to coffee lover with fancy price.
As a tourist destination UBUD is one of the best coffee provider here in Bali.
